Terms and Conditions

These terms govern use of DrivePrep Book at book.driveprep.eu (“the Service”), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Danyil Klymenko (ФОП Клименко Даниїл Олександрович), 4 Vysotskoho St., apt. 18, Dnipro, 49033, Ukraine, Tax ID (RNOKPP) 3753002970 (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What you are buying

DrivePrep Book is a software subscription: a hosted booking and scheduling system that a driving school uses to publish its instructors' availability and to record its own students' practical lesson bookings against a balance of hours the school keeps. What is sold is access to that software for the term of the subscription. It is not a physical good, a downloadable file, a course, or any other item of content.

The customer is the driving school — a company or a registered sole trader. The agreement is made with that business, not with any individual acting as a consumer. This is business-to-business software.

  • The school pays, and nobody else does. Instructors and students hold accounts under a school that has subscribed. We never charge them, for anything.
  • No money passes through the Service. We do not process payments between a school and its students, do not hold funds for anyone, and take no commission on what a school charges. Lesson fees are settled directly between the school and its student, outside the Service. Hour balances in the app are bookkeeping entries the school maintains — not a wallet, an account balance or stored value of any kind.
  • We do not sell content. No learning materials, theory courses, exam questions, videos or other educational content are supplied under this agreement.
  • We are not a marketplace and not a source of leads. We do not list schools, do not match students to schools, and do not introduce anyone to anyone. A school brings its own existing students to the Service through a registration link the school sends them itself.
  • Pricing follows instructors, not students. The school pays a rate per instructor it chooses to pay for. Students are unlimited, and are never counted, metered or billed. Section 3 sets out the detail.

2. Accounts

  • You must give accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure.
  • The school administrator is responsible for everyone they add and for having a lawful basis to enter their instructors' and students' details.
  • One person belongs to one school. An email address already registered with another school cannot be added to a second one.
  • You must be 18 or over to hold an administrator account.

3. Price, instructors and billing

There is one plan, priced per instructor. You choose how many instructors to pay for; students are unlimited and never cost anything.

  • Per instructor, monthly or yearly — you are billed a rate per instructor, on whichever term you choose. The yearly term costs less than paying the monthly rate for twelve months; the saving is shown next to the two prices on the pricing page.
  • Your country sets the rate — we set the rate per instructor separately for each country, and Paddle applies the one for your billing country automatically. Two schools in different countries therefore pay different amounts for the same plan. We deliberately do not print rates in this document: they are adjusted per country and would go out of date here. The rates in force are always on the pricing page.
  • Tax is added on top — every price we show excludes tax. Paddle calculates any VAT or sales tax due in your country and adds it at checkout.
  • You see the exact amount before you pay — the total for your instructor count, your term and your country is shown on the pricing page and again in the payment window, in your own currency, before you confirm anything. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
  • Founder discount — the first five schools to subscribe on the yearly term pay half the ordinary yearly rate for their country, permanently, for as long as the subscription remains active. It is a discount on the ordinary plan, not a separate product and not a one-time payment: it applies to whatever number of instructors you are on, including if you add more later. It is available on the yearly term only, and switching to monthly billing ends it. Once five schools have taken it, it is withdrawn permanently.
  • WhatsApp reminders — an optional add-on: a base rate that covers your first instructor, plus a smaller rate per additional instructor. It is billed monthly whatever your plan's term, grants no instructor seats, and its rates are on the pricing page.

Changing your instructor count replaces the number on that subscription — going from 5 to 7 gives you 7, not 12 — and an increase is prorated against the remainder of the current period. Buying a second subscription instead adds its instructors to your total. If a subscription ends and you are over your instructor limit, existing instructors keep working — you simply cannot add more until you are back within it. We do not delete anyone.

Prices are listed in euro and exclude any tax that Paddle applies at checkout; Paddle may take payment in your own currency, at its own rate of exchange, and shows you that amount before you confirm. Our current prices are always on the pricing page, which is the authoritative statement of what the Service costs. We may change our prices, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we tell you before one applies to a renewal.

4. Payments are handled by Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: they handle the transaction, issue your invoice, and are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax and VAT. We never receive or store your card details.

Paddle's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the purchase. Payment methods and billing details are managed through Paddle's customer portal, reachable from your billing page.

5. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. A Founder discount applies to every renewal for as long as the subscription stays active; cancelling ends it, and it cannot be reclaimed afterwards.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful content, or content you have no right to use;
  • attempt to access another school's data, probe for vulnerabilities, or circumvent seat limits;
  • resell or sublicense access without our written agreement;
  • use the Service to send unsolicited messages.

We may suspend an account that breaches this section, and will tell you why.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party failures and events outside our control can interrupt it. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment.

8. Your data

You keep ownership of everything you put in. For your instructors' and students' data we act as a processor on your instructions — see the Privacy Policy. You may export or request deletion at any time.

9. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are emailed to account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and the courts of Ukraine have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.
