A student on automatic books a manual lesson. The instructor finds out at the meeting point. Here it is impossible — the grid only ever shows slots matching the student’s own category.
Two students message at the same time and both think they got 18:00. The database itself only permits one booking per slot, so the second one is refused rather than quietly overwritten.
Paid hours live in someone’s notebook. Here every booking, refund and correction is a ledger row that is never deleted, and the balance is their sum.
Pay for the instructors you have. Students are unlimited, and the price is exactly linear — seven instructors cost seven times one.
Change it whenever you like. Adding one mid-period is prorated against what you have already paid; reducing the number takes effect at your next renewal, and nobody is switched off in the meantime.
